:
North seacoast beaches by car :
• Algaiarens, road from Ciudadela.
• Es Grau, Sa Mesquida, from Mahón.
North seacoast beaches by car + roads :
• Binimel.la + walk until Cala Pregonda
• Cala Pilar (you have to walk)
• Es Grau + walk towards the east
• Favarix light house + beaches de l´Arenal
del Moro
• Caballería (phare) + cave with view
on the sea + Beach.
South coast beaches:
• Cala Galdana (by car/bus) + walk
towards :
1. Cala Macarella + Macarelleta + Cala en Turqueta
(all of them direction west from Cala Galdana, starting
from the path near the parking at the west end of
the beach)
2. Cala Mitjana (towards the East, starting from a
path near the viewpoints at the East). To arrive to
the viewpoints: take the left exit at the round point
when arriving to Cala Galdana.
• Cales Coves (Road San Clemente - Cala en Porter)
• Son Bou (4 Km of white sand beach + Basilique
Paleochrétienne - at the east of the beach)
Villages préhistoriques :
• Trepucó, near Mahón following
the path that goes to the cementery.
• Naveta d’es Tudons, near Ciudadela in
the Mahón-Ciudadela road.
Others :
• Binibeca, fishermen town
• Walk arrouond the old town of Ciudadela
• Organ at the Sta. Maria church in Mahon (concerts
many days in the summer time. arrount 11 am)
• Monte Toro, tallest mountain (365 meters)
+ small church.
• Ports of Mahón, Fornells (with seafood
restaurants!), Ciudadela, Cales Fons ( Es Castell),
Addaia.
• Boat trips from the ports of Mahón.
Either glass bottom boat or catamaran. Some of the
can drink/eat in the boat
• Visit the Isle d’en Colom from Es
Grau (small boat, information in the bars in Es Grau)
• Pub “Es Cau” Es Castell - Cala
Corp. Typical Spanish and Minorquin songs.
• To go out: Akelarre
and other pubs arround, at the harbour of Mahón,
in front of the Maritimal Station.
• Discothèque (only in summer time) Sa
Cova d’en Xoroi (Cala en Porter)
• Excursion by foot to the Castle of Sta. Ageda
mountain. Take the road to Ets Allocs in the middle
of the road between Ferrerías et Ciudadela.
• + other nice places that you will discover
on your own or talking with the locals.
